About This Layout
This is a nice, simple table layout that I originally made for
Seraphic Heart's first ever layout contest. How exciting! [I've also entered it in
No Such Thing's Romantic Layout Contest--wish me luck!] Actually, I really love this layout more than the one I currently have up, and was seriously considering using this for
Kokunkokun instead of the contest, but I figured I can always make a similar one for Kokun. I'm just so disappointed with how my March layout looks across browsers. Yuck.
Anyway, like I said, this is a table layout, which are usually my least favorite to code, but they're growing on me, even though I still need to follow a tutorial to make sure I don't screw up, haha. I made a matching avatar [duh], and I love it. I really like the series Eureka Seven, so when I read about the contest, the Renton/Eureka relationship was the first thing that came to mind. So cute!
Coding the layout was actually pretty easy, but the CSS killed me, because the links were such a pain to style. Oh well. I finally got it to look how I wanted, even though I had to be ridiculously repetitive in my coding. But it was worth it.
